I wanted so put a sign board with our house number and street name but I also wanted something different so I decided to just name our house. In the Philippines, it 's not common to name your house unless it's a building or it's for commercial purposes.
I went with the most obvious since our house is the only gray structure along our street.
The Gray House... House of Gray... La Maison Gray
Below is the design for our signboard.
We're now in the process of asking quotations for stainless cutout signboard, laser cut / acryllic signboards or painted metal sheet.
To check if it will look nice or if the size is proportional to the fence where we'll be putting it, I had it printed on tarpaulin. It's good that I had it printed as I saw a typo when I printed out the design. It should have been "La" instead of "Le".
The funny thing was I saw one of our neighbors checking out the sign. hahaha As I've mentioned only commercial establishments have signboards so it will be interesting to see the reactions of our neighbors. (^o^)
