My DIY Garden Project

As I was looking at the our mini-garden, I felt like I'm still not liking the view since I've planted a lot of varieties without thinking of aesthetics. And then I remembered that a cousin of my husband has a clean look garden with stones. With that concept in mind, I asked my staff to buy stones (white and gray) and also  pickup different varieties of plants at Manang's place at Mindanao Garden Center. I have purchased most of the plants in our garden from Mindanao Garden Center. Whule waiting for them to come back, I prepped the garden bed and repotted some of the plants that will not be included in the new design such as the white pitiminis and sili (green chili) plants.

When they came back with the plants, I immediately knew the look that I wanted for the garden. I group 2-4 plants in a cluster while distributing Italian grass and moses plants. I covered most soil with gray stones. Since I loved my Calamansi plant, I surrounded it with white stones as well as shells and smooth stones that we've collected from the beach. It's good that Tita remembered that we still held onto the stones we brought from the beach when we moves to our new house.

Here's the picture of almost finished garden. What do you think?
